Huo Xiao Jun (èrhú)

二胡  霍 暁君 (フオ シャオジュン)

Born in Tianjin, China, is a national first-class performer and former member of the Twelve Girls Band. Identified for her talent through a national talent project at the age of eight, she received elite education in both erhu and piano. She studied at the affiliated middle and high schools of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music under Liu Zunhai, and later at the Central Conservatory of Music in China under Cao Dewei. After graduating with excellent grades, she served as the principal erhu player at the Beijing Chinese Opera and Dance Drama Theater (National Theater) from 2001 to 2015. She has performed in Japan, the United States, Canada, Spain, and other countries, earning acclaim for her elegant and dignified sound.
